Tenant Information

As landlords ourselves we have always been passionate about providing a good quality service to all of our tenants.  This ethos has been carried through to all of our managed properties.

We want you to stay as long as possible and we know there is a lot of choice out there.  We aim to be available at the times that you need us, in the places that you need us.  So if that means us showing you around a property on a Sunday afternoon then so be it.

Our quality service is backed up by the fact that Joanne has been shortlisted for a National Landlords Association Award.  The nomination for this award came from an existing tenant.  Now that speaks volumes!

Holding Fee – Terms and Conditions

Once a holding fee of £150 is paid, along with all requested documentation being supplied, Essex Letting Angel is able to start taking references on an applicant for a property.

In the event that Essex Letting Angel carry out referencing and the applicant is found to not be suitable for the property, Essex Letting Angel will refund £100 to the applicant and will retain £50 towards administration costs.

In the event that the applicant is found to be suitable for the property and is offered a tenancy, then the £150 holding fee will be used towards the costs associated with renting that property.

In the event that an applicant is found to be suitable for a property and is offered a tenancy, but the applicant subsequently declines the offer, the whole £150 will be retained by Essex Letting Angel towards their administration costs.

Any refund of fees due, will be processed within 3 working days of receiving written confirmation of bank details for the refund to be processed to.

We are available from 7am -10pm We are here when you need us.  We are happy to do viewings evening and all weekend to fit in with your life
Help with any additional paperwork If you need help with any additional paperwork such as Housing Benefit we are fully trained in the process and are able to help you with all of the paperwork to ensure things run quickly and smoothly
24 hour line for emergencies A leak doesn’t always decide to present itself between 9-5 so if you have an emergency we will be there to help
Online Access Access to our online system to report non urgent problems, view all of your documentation and check your rental account
